Webinar Abstract:

A large number of studies using XF technology are employing a protocol that measures multiple parameters of mitochondrial function. The resulting profile is very robust as it can quantify cellular bioenergetics, identify mitochondrial dysfunction and/or predict the ability of cells to respond to stress and/or insults. In order to standardize and make it easier to perform this experiment we have developed a kit that contains all the necessary components and instructions to enable an XF user to test and interpret mitochondrial function in cells without extensive education and training.

In this webinar we will discuss:

  • How to perform an XF assay using the XF Stress Test Kit
  • How to visualize, quantify and interpret the results
  • How scientists are using this assay to assess normal and abnormal mitochondrial function
